I did a fashion styled shoot and it was amazing!

In my last post, I said that I did a styled shoot for men. Well, that’s not all I did! I also did a styled shoot centered around fashion, using mainly female models. Just like for the men’s styled shoot, this shoot was taken at The Venue in Rigby, Idaho. It was so beautiful!

High Fashion Styled Shoot

You might have already noticed but I’m really trying to develop my style, seeing what I like and don’t like. I found that I absolutely love grain. So that’s why my photos look grainy! I’m obsessed with film-like photography, so I’ve really been trying to capture that type of look. I  matted the blacks and whites, and gave it a slight teal look to all three of these images.

For the model in the white background, I got that look by having a light behind her and a light right in front of her. It was so beautiful!

It’s a little obvious but for the other two, I used rgb lights. It was so much fun playing with the colors!

Bridal Styled Shoot

I love this photo! This bride looked so beautiful. It reminds me of these wedding photos by Nikki Santerre. Since this was a fashion styled shoot, I wanted the main focus to be on the wedding dress. So, I twisted her train towards me and shot from a low angle.

Athletic Styled Shoot

For this first photo, I had the model interacting with the product, which was her shoes! As I was taking that photo, the wind decided to pick up and gently move her hair. It created great movement! For the second photo, I had her do some yoga. It created beautiful shapes. I love it!

I had so much fun doing this photoshoot! What do you want to see me shoot next?
