I loved shooting this bright and airy, romantic wedding at Millhouse Venue!

The Millhouse Venue is a popular historic wedding spot nestled right between Rexburg and Idaho Falls. Since it’s a popular location, I find myself shooting at the Millhouse Venue all the time.

Speaking of which, let me introduce myself! I’m Kaylee and I’ve been a wedding photographer for six years. The emphasis in my work is timeless storytelling and delivering high-quality, romantic photos. Oh, and I never put a cap on the amount of photos I deliver. If you want to learn more, click here.

Now that you know a little about me, let’s get back to the wedding. For anonymity’s sake, let’s call this couple Amelia and Eli. Amelia and Eli wanted a small micro wedding. Thus, they really didn’t need a lot of coverage. They used my a la carte pricing to fully customize their package and choose how many hours they wanted me there. Amelia and Eli only wanted group photos and bridals (which are photos of just the bride and groom). I happily obliged and I took some stunning photos of Amelia and Eli!

Bridals

High noon sun can be intimidating to shoot in. But with the right angles and poses, I believe that it has a certain beauty that other times of day just doesn’t have. You really get to play with light and take some gorgeous bright and airy images.

Group Photos

With group photos, I like to take the traditional route and make sure I capture lots of simple, look at the camera photos. Honestly, that’s what my couples want and it’s always the photos relatives download and share. However, I do like to stretch my creative muscles once in a while and do a few things to make them a little more unique. That’s why I was thrilled to surprise Amelia and Eli with this gif of Eli’s kids running to them. They say that when you marry someone, you marry their whole family. That’s why I think it’s so important to capture little moments like this one.

The Millhouse Venue is one of my favorite place to shoot and I’m so glad Amelia and Eli chose me to photograph their special day. If you’re interest in my work, feel free to contact me! I’d love to chat with you and see how I can make your wedding everything you dreamed it to be.
